According to data reported by the Connecticut Multiple Listing Service (CTMLS) the average median list price of Branford houses listed during December was $376,950 a 14.42% increase from this time last year of $329,450.

The average median sold price for the month of December was $281,250 a decrease of 14.77% over last year and a 6.51% increase over last month.

CTMLS statistics shows that homes are taking a little longer time to sell once they hit the market.

In December of last year, most homes stayed on the market an average of 98 days. In December of this year, single-family homes had an average market time of 114 days.

Nineteen homes sold in Branford during the month of December which is 2 less that sold last year in December 2016.

For the month of December 2017, 12 new residential listings hit the market and 15 Branford single family homes went under contract.
