The increase in the average sales price month over month is attributed to a number of higher end properties selling in the month of July versus last month.
The median sales price for New Haven homes sold was $187,750 in July 2016 compared to $269,900 during June 2016 and $191,000 in July 2015.
38 homes sold in New Haven during the month of July which is 5 less than the 33 that sold in May 2016 and 3 less to 41 sold in July 2015.
In the month of July, 47 new listings hit the market. There were 37 New Haven homes that went under contract in July 2016 which represents 25.7% of the overall available inventory of 144 homes.
