Polar Plunge 2016 Lighthouse Point Park New Haven

This year’s Polar Plunge will be held on Friday January 1, 2016 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and is a fundraiser for the Elm City Parks Conservancy.  This wildly popular event features an incredible brunch, free tours through the Five Mile Point Lighthouse, activities for the kids and hot tubs.

It costs $11.54 to eat brunch and $27.37 for the polar plunge and brunch.  Click here for tickets or download a printable registration form.  Registration ends December 31, 2015.

Many people have made this an annual tradition while for some it will be their first time and others who come to support their friends and family as they plunge into the frigid waters of Long Island Sound.

Will you be one of those brave souls who strips down and goes for a dip on New Year’s Day?
